Farjana Shati’s Signature Project, May 2018:
Farjana’s signature project focused on starting the dialogue on Quality Education among peers and professors at City Tech. She interviewed fellow students and professors on several occasions exploring the extent of passerby’s knowledge on the UN, UNESCO and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Farjana also explored with her audience what Quality Education meant to them, and whether they thought youth should play a role in achieving Quality Education. She also chose to engage her interviewees on gender equity and gender diversity on campus — topics that carry personal interest to her — as well as, explore ideas that students can increase sustainability on campus.
