  1. My name is Chadrick Calder and I’m the youngest in my family. I chose city tech because I had no idea what I wanted to be. So my friend mention radiology to me and I was interested.

Some things about me is that I was born here in Queens but since I was 8 months old I grew up in Mexico City, my first language is Spanish, and well, I chose City Tech. because I am very interested in technology and I am excited to start my career and learn more about what interests me

Hi my name is Fernanda Mora .My parents are both from Mexico but I was born here.I will be majoring in human services .I decided to pick city tech because it was recommended and I liked that the campus isn’t too big so it won’t be too difficult to get to know the school and to adjust to the transition from high school to college since they are completely different.I hope to learn about the programs that city tech has for me and other students to sign up for to make our college experience easier and better.

  4. Hi, my name is Fernanda Mora. My parents are from Mexico but i was born here.I am going to be a freshman at city tech this semester and I will be majoring in human services. I chose to attend city college because i liked that it’s not a really big campus so hopefully it will be easier for me to get used to the school and because it was recommended to me.I hope to learn more about the school and learn about the programs the school has for me and other students so we can have a good college experience.

  5. I want my classmates to know that I’m a first gen student excited to explore different programs and connect with other incoming freshmen. My goal is to graduate with honors with my associates degree so I can successfully transfer out of state. I chose city tech because I liked the campus, programs, and it was close to home. At my time here I hope to have a smooth transitioning into college

      That’s a good goal to have. Put in the effort and study, you’ll definitely get good grades. Before transferring out of state, make sure you satisfy that college’s requirements to make the process is smooth.

  6. My name Jael Nunez. I enjoy pass time activities such as playing games, and reading. I chose this school because I don’t research schools and just applied, as well because I’m undecided on a major. So I hope to learn what major I would like.

      Very interesting how you applied to the college without researching. Luckily, they offer a lot of degrees. I recommend researching the degrees offered at City Tech.

  7. I want my classmates to know that I am majoring in radiology. I am a first generation college freshman. I choose city tech due to there radiology program and it being close to home. I am nervous but more excited for college I want to adapt to my new normal and be one step closer to me overall goal which is to become a radiology technician.

  8. I want my classmates to know that I’m excited to start college as a first gen. My goal as a college student is to graduate and have a degree in radiology. City Tech was my first option because of its radiology program and the commute from my home. I hope to gain more knowledge on all the programs that city tech has for students and use it to my advantage to always be ahead of my peers.

      Hopefully radiology is something you want to pursue at City Tech. Definitely get ahead of the game and become familiar with the Rad Tech requirements.

    I want my classmates to know I am a big brother. Me becoming a big brother to my two sister has changed my view point of the world in many ways. I have become motivated, determined, caring, and trying to become better because I know my impact on the world can change the world that they live in. My goal at city tech is to get my diploma and pursue my career as a rad tech and eventually progress in that career. I chose city tech after my chemistry teacher in freshman year told me I would be fit for it due to my curiosity in x ray sciences and diseases discovered with x ray like cancer. I value morals and dignity and respect and hold myself to a high standard as I have people I don’t want to let down

      Your chemistry teacher really did you a favor by directing you to City Tech to the Rad Tech program.

      I definitely agree with your interest in cancer and the radiology element to it.

  10. I am a fast and efficient worker and my goals in college is to get my degree and start a career in radiology. I hope to learn how to adapt to college life and the tools needed to succeed.

      A lot of the students seem to want to pursue radiology.

      Being fast and efficient are very important skills to have. Especially in the world of healthcare.

  11. Something I want my classmates to know about me is that im majoring in radiology and one of my hobbies is Volleyball. Some of my goals as a college student is to get good grades so I can be able to have access to good programs for certifications for radiology after getting my bachelors. I hope to learn a lot about alumni life as well as different clubs and different programs to help me as well as knowing the professors better.

      I love volleyball. Definitely can be a violent sport with certain people.

      150% agreed with you. Aim to get the best grade you get, to enable yourself the best opportunity to get into the program.

  12. My name is Tenzin Zomkey I am an incoming freshman and majoring in nursing. I chose nursing as a major because I want to be able to helps others that are in need. I chose city tech because I thought the campus was nice. I hope to get familiar to transitioning into college.

  13. My name is Ratana Bishas. I’m half Micronesian and Bengali. I’m an incoming freshman, majoring in nursing here at City Tech. I chose City Tech because it had a good nursing program and campus. And I hope to just get familiar with transitioning into college.

      I never heard of Micronesia. It looks so pretty.

      Yay another nursing student in the process. Get ahead of the pre-reqs and study for your ATI teas.
