This is an leading line photo that drives the viewer’s eye to the end of the street. Even though the focus point doesn’t lead to an object, it gives a whole view of the street. When you are looking at the point, everything in the photo still in view, does’t loss contrast.
I would argue that this is a great example of perspective. The lines of the street converge in the distance creating a sense of space. But leading lines need to lead to the main subject of the photo.
