I think the lighting and shadow is interesting in this photo. The angle of the lighting creates almost like a spotlight on the egg that goes on most of the egg and it has a slight shadow. The shadow underneath the egg is quite similar in size to the egg.
How soft the edges of the patch of light are compared to the sharp shadow of the egg is beautiful!
