This photo was my favorite out of all of the photos taken during this learning log. Although it’s not as bright as the other photos, I like the darker tones and bright contrasts that are present in this photo. There are a few elements in this view that help the photo stand out. This was taken at eye-level view, has a medium shot frame, has a deep perspective and shows strong horizontal lines.

As you state this is an example of perspective. Here the perspective goes up and back in space. And yeah, it is underexposed to raise the exposure in lightroom a bit. We will do this in class mid-semester but in the meantime use the exposure slider.
