This photo strikes me the most out of the set me and my classmates took. With a diffuse light positioned in the back of the subject, it’s easier to create silhouettes and capture the light along with the darkness of the edges and interior of the subject. My favorite part of the photo would have to be the petals of the flower to the left. On the bottom of the flower, you can notice that there are petals but the colors aren’t easy to figure out. While the petals on the top are a bit translucent and the colors can be seen better.

The translucent petals are lovely. If the white were whiter, the photo would be even better. This is easy to do in Lightroom. Help me remember this example later in the semester when we work more with Lightroom.
