accurate representations of figure ground you can clearly distinguish what’s in foreground and background. I like how smooth and clean they came out!
I think most of those thumbnails have an equal amount of negative and positive space. All of them also is a shape and no longer a recognizable letter or a line. I like the second-row first thumbnail sketch A, I think that one is the most effective figure-ground piece, it has the most equal negative and positive space.
I like the simplicity of your sketches, they work great in showing figure/ground.
