Annoying Ways People Use Sources- DEJ

From Annoying Ways people use sources by Kyle D. Stedman I learned that Sometimes an author can put their work in a way where readers can really understand the point of view the author is trying to show. For example an argument essay you can just put the evidence and explain that evidence. the right way to put it is first to Write something that introduces the evidence then where is that evidence coming from who itā€™s quoted by and then what is the purpose of that evidence and your explanation behind it and the importance. You have to follow the steps Otherwise is going to be very frustrating plus confusing for the readers. Sometimes authors can have problems Writing or explaining what are they trying to explain in order to make sure what part they trying to prove or trying to say Is perfectly stated Sometimes they could mix up the evidence and their own opinion together. In Ā  Annoying Ways people use sources by Kyle D. Stedman States that ā€œI understand that I couldnā€™t tell the difference between your ideas and your sourceā€™s because we quite naturally patch write all the time. Thatā€™s fine with me. Party on!ā€ Theyā€™re much more likely to imagine that you plopped in a few extra citations as a way of defensively saying, ā€œI swear I did some research! See? Hereā€™s a citation right here! Doesnā€™t that prove I worked really hard?ā€ To sum up, The idea is when it really hard to understand the Source and your own opinion. And makes your argument very less Understandable also very weak. I personally believe this is the mistake that I personally made a lot and based on the article in order to fix this problem in order to make sure that you’re following those one thing that you could do is to someone else that could give you feedback about your work but sometimes we don’t really have to read it to someone I believe you could read it louder to yourself or to someone that could give you your comments about your work.Ā

The Makerā€™s Eye: Revising Your Own Manuscripts Donald M. Murray -DJE

ā€œWhen students complete the first draft, they consider the job of writing done ā€“ and their teachers too often agree. When

professional writers complete the first draft, they usually feel that they are at the start of the writing process. When a draft is completed, the job of writing can begin. ā€œ

That is true that students their first draft they believe as a complete work but for people who professionally write it is just a first draft they believedĀ  They just start writing and they make to write more to progress more and also that’s the difference between students and professional writers. When a student writes something They don’t have to focus is the thing that they’re writing is it’s going to be really important to their lives and when professional people are writing their job is writing they need to make sure the thing that is writing is to present them so they have to be perfect so they have to do more than one trash to make the writing more perfect. The conclusion it makes sense why the student believes their first draft is their perfect work and for professional Riders is just their beginning.Ā Ā
Such detachment is not easy. Science-fiction writer Ray Bradbury supposedly puts each manuscript away for a year to the day and then rereads it as aĀ

stranger. Not many writers have the discipline or the time to do this. We must read when our judgment may be at its worst when we are close to the euphoric moment of creation.

Very hooked to this paragraph I like the idea when want to be a professional writer they should be their own writing enemy because they have to understand thatĀ  When their work is going to be published not just one or two people going to read it a lot of people going to read it and they have to meet with people that may not like their writing style Or don’t like the opinion that they have shown in their writing.Ā  as a student, you don’t really have to care about this stuff but as a professional writer you have to go to yourĀ  writing over and over again to make sure your work may not offend someoneĀ Ā Ā
Writers often read aloud at this stage of the editing process, muttering or whispering to themselves, calling on the earā€™s experience with the language. Does this sound right ā€“ or that? Writers edit, shifting back and forth from eye to page to ear to pageā€¦ā€¦..Ā Ā  I truly believe in this fact when you read aloud your writing you can see what mistake you made in your writing or what needs to be fixed or what doesn’t really make sense or what you should add to your writing you could see it clearly.Ā
A piece of writing is never finished.Ā  this is a whole new point of view for me I always think when I’m done writing is that writing is just done but based on the author is say that a writer is never finished There’s always a way to make writingĀ  Perfect. It’s just you have a time that you meet any believe it is okay to give up or finish up your writing this is an amazing fact to think aboutĀ

Time Capsule 12/2

I do not ever think I will be able to sum up this semester in words. I learned how to properly manage my time, because this semester really tested me. Especially , learning online. Imagine , always panicking about assignments even while your in grocery store, randomly pops up in your head .. did i finish this , did i finish that ? I also learned to fall inlove with reading again, and not just books. Reading the thoughts of others(classmates). I learned how to write better , even though i think i still got a lot ofĀ  improving to do. Did i achieve my goals ? Truthfully i dont think i did, i believed i could have done better. I believe my goals , were just right.. not too big or small. Im loooking forward to next semester, hopefully i can achieve more than what i set for myself.
