This is a picture is from Poland. This pandemic helped us against climate change a lot. A huge amount of people stayed in their homes for a few months because of that they didn’t go outside and didn’t use the car a lot. Cars release carbon dioxide in the air. This pandemic got positive feeds back from research. But the Polish government is propping up the increasingly uneconomical coal industry by buying up unwanted coal and banning imports of cheaper coal. The country has also been investing in renewables, especially offshore wind farms and solar. So, it’s harmful to the environment.
