This article helps people with quoting sources. Writers often have difficulties quoting other peoples work. The author states “Yet many writers make a host of mistakes when it comes to quoting, not the least of which is the failure to quote enough in the first place, if at all”. This is definitely true form most writer at least early on. Quoting can be quite confusing if you don’t know the rules. Its also very hard to put the quote to good use. Explaining quotes can be something that is hard to remember to do because some writer including my self often think that the quote speaks for its self. Even if the quote seems like it can speak for its self you should always explain it.
