Do you have a passion for old places? Are you interested in a career working to preserve, learn from, and interpret Historic buildings and landscapes? The Clemson University Summer Historic Preservation Institute invites undergraduate students to see first-hand the kinds of work historic preservationists do, all while immersing themselves in Charlestonās unique history, architecture, and culture. This intensive three-day experience includes tours and site visits to some of Charlestonās most iconic historic sites. Attendees will experience both the diversity of the historic places and voices that constitute Charlestonās shared history and the diversity of projects and careers that make up the field of historic preservation.
