BUF 2341: Financial Forecasting

In Financial Forecasting, I developed a strong financial modeling and forecasting foundation, applying techniques to real-world business scenarios. The course focused on essential topics like capital budgeting, multinational finance, and risk management, emphasizing their relevance to fashion, technology, and financial services. I used MS Excel to create financial models through lab assignments, including sales projections, amortization tables, and forecasts to guide business decision-making. I used Accepi to turn in all of my assignments. My final project involved applying these skills to construct detailed financial models, integrating concepts such as portfolio theory, and using derivative instruments for risk management. I also gained expertise in conducting sensitivity and break-even analysis to assess project risks and returns. This experience equipped me with the tools to analyze financial data, make informed decisions, and manage risk within a global business context.
