In Principles of Marketing, I gained a deep understanding of consumer behavior and the marketing forces that influence purchasing decisions. I analyzed various methods for developing consumer demand and explored how companies strategically position their products to capture attention in competitive markets. My final project focused on the importance of branding, packaging, and labeling within the fashion industry, where I examined how these elements create an identity and influence consumer perceptions. I also explored the relationship between the marketing mix—product, price, place, and promotion—and how it interacts with environmental factors like social trends and economic shifts. This course provided valuable insights into the strategies behind successful marketing campaigns and the role of consumer psychology in shaping brand loyalty. Overall, the experience equipped me with the skills to assess and apply marketing principles across industries, particularly in fashion.
