Today, everyone in society is basically a photographer. Using their phone cameras to capture an image using different filters. Food images have become popular over the years. Social media has made the revival of the food photography trend. Some individuals capture food images for pleasure while others are being paid for them. If a person has a specific amount of followers they get paid at a higher price. Color is mostly being used for food photography also known as “food porn.” Eggleston’s images consisted of color. Majority of his work was based on various stores, highways, even fast food wrappers. Food photography is increasing every day in social media which I believe is a fascinating thing. People around the world can view different types of food and learn the culture as well.
For every Thanksgiving, I always make Creme Brulee with my family. It is a family tradition and would like to continue it on for the next years ahead.
