I found it really interesting that soldiers in the civil war drank coffee. Before reading this article I didn’t think that they had coffee with them in the battlefield. I always imagined that they only had food and water but not really anything else. But its very interesting that they made coffee with anything they had, didn’t even care how it tasted it was like a treat to them. Coffee was their fuel to “soldier well” and to always be aware and alert of what’s going on. Like today coffee is like an essential for almost everyone in the morning, however, coffee is not the only beverge for energy. for some people who don’t like coffee they drink other beverages with caffeine in them.
Something I can’t live without is iced coffee and chocolate especially reese’s chocolate. I have to start my morning with iced coffee everyday.
