What I feel the most fascinating about the soldiers’ diet is that even with the severe food situation they are still not going to abandon coffee from their diet. Military contains tons of soldiers so the quality of food becomes just passable because no one bothering for the taste or the texture, the main purpose of food is to keep soldiers from starving perhaps is to keep them alive. In the article coffee, bread, and meat appear from two different soldiers’ diet, simply meat and bread provide protein or nutrition to our body but coffee is just a beverage. And the process of making coffee is quite difficult, especially during the wartime that you need to carry the supply around.
The food that I live without is going to be McDonald, especially the breakfast meal that is way too delicious just by imagining those foods my stomach is begging for more.
