I found Robert Frank’s photographs artistic and it was important that these topics he presented were addressed. To me, they were artistic in his style of photographing them as well as the subjects being photographed. His work was real and not staged by him or adjusted by subjects. I also found his work to have a lot of political meaning. He captured topics like segregation which people were not able to see from such point of view. It was also important that his work shed light on these topics to other parts of the world so that they could see the truth of what was happening in the U.S.
