I think Robert Frank’s photographs are artistic. He travels across the United State and photograph the American everyday lives as a non-native American’s point of view. All photographs look very simple, but do have meaning behind the photographs. I think he wants to explore and understand what the American will usually do. In some photographs such as the image of an African American woman was taking care of a white baby, does relate to the political and society problem at that time. Also, the photograph of a man sleeping in a public park shows bleak.
