Questions for the New York City mayor candidates
CircleIn is an easy to use studying app and website. Think of it as a massive circle of students, your classmates, who share your pain when it comes to all of the homework and testing. Everyone is there to help. It has all the tools and resources you need to stay productive and pass your class(es).

The objective is to make sure you are surrounded by help from your classmates and give you a place where you can contribute to supporting your peers as well.
We review your âSketchbook/notesâ four times over the semester [see the class schedule or the dates below]. You should keep up to date with the weekly assignments, so you are prepared for class and do not have a big set of notes to complete at once. You should include notes on your reading and on the lectures. You should also keep a list of useful AutoCAD tricks, key commands, and functions. I will be sharing some examples of good âSketchbook/notesâ submissions in future classes. Please include your own diagrams, and sketches in addition to any written notes you take.
Question: Should I show the property lines in the site plan. The lines are in red, is this how you wanted the site plan?Â
Yes, please include the property lines in your 300:1 scale drawing. Typically, in AutoCAD the line color sets the printing line weight. We will discuss that in 2-9-21 class. The line type should be either, long dash and two short dashes (for property lines) or just straight long dashes (for lot lines).

Some Students have talked to me about the possibility of participating in the Solar Decathlon Design Challenge. It may be possible to utilize much of the work for the BT2 classes for the foundation of this competition. The deadline for the application is this Thursday October 20th. If you are interested in being part of the team and pursuing this competition join either (or both) of these two Zoom sessions. If you are still interested and cannot join either of the zoom sections send us an email. If there is enough stuff team energy members and enthusiasm we will proceed.

Student question:
“…. my structural grid is printing as solid lines instead of the grid line type, I did everything I could to change it but I just canât seem to fix it, the model space is fine, itâs just the paper space thatâs messed up.”
Solution:
There are several ways to adjust line properties, so they print dots and/or dashes.
Here are 3 ways that I think are most useful.
you can type the command âPSLTSCALEâ to turn off and on the scaling line command. When on the line should scale to the Scale you’re using in that particular viewport.
MSLTSCALE To adjust line scales in model space
PSLTSCALE To adjust line scales in paper space
or
You can right click a line and go to its properties and change its âLinetype scaleâ.
