thoughts on “Of Mice and Men”

I really enjoyed reading “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck. It started out a bit slow for me, but eventually I felt the story pick up fast. I enjoyed learning about George’s situation on Lennie, understanding Lennie’s mental status and why the ending of the story was such a big controversy over whether or not killing Lennie at the end was the right thing to do. I cant complain at all about the book, to be completely honest I really thought the book would be boring, but I actually ended up enjoying ever minute. The story kept me guessing what the outcome would be, what would eventually happen to Lennie and George, and the surprising end to Lennie’s death was exciting. Great story overall!
