My beat will focus on the autism spectrum. First of all there isn’t only one type of autism, there are many, autism is a complex, lifelong developmental disability, it  typically appears during early childhood and can impact a person’s social skills, communication etc  . Each person with autism has different sets of strengths and challenges. Autism is  most influenced by a combination of genetic and environmental factors some people with autism  may require significant support in their daily lives, while others may need less support and, in some cases, live entirely independently. Signs of autism usually appear by age 2 or 3, with my brother he was diagnosed when he was 2 years old. What I really want to know are the different hypotheses scientists, parents, doctors  have about what causes autism? I know that the scientists still haven’t figured out why but there was this one scientist who did, his name was  James Jeffrey Bradstreet and he was murdered because he said that the vaccines were the cause of vaccines but there are other opinions. Something I could also research about is about famous people who have/had autism. My target audience will be specifically parents with children 2-3 years or less or even with autism. Also it could be teachers and paras so they can learn how to help and deal with children or even adults with the autism spectrum. As part of my research I will do interviews, read newspapers, watch news, read biographies, watch documentaries about the autism spectrum, this will make my essay interesting to the readers. To be honest I feel like I knew a lot about the autism spectrum but now I realize that I don’t, there is still a lot of things I don’t know so doing this research will help a lot.

This is such a huge topic, potentially. I think targeting parents of 2-3 year old kids is a smart choice. That will really help you focus down on what you want to say.
