Introduction

Hi, my name is Domenica. This is my second-semester city tech and I’m majoring in health science. Specifically in Hospital Administration. As to the reading and video we were assigned. My name and languages which are Spanish and English, Makes me who I am because is my identification of the person i am , legally , social and who i am an as individual. People have said my name wrong. Sometimes it annoys me badly when people say it really wrong and will continue on saying it wrong. It annoys me because i find it disrespectful a person not trying to correct the way they say my name. In a way i feel like they are treating me how they want to treat me as like ” you’re not really important to learn and say your name correctly “. When that happens i correct them again. My name is Italian and my skin tone is light , people usually say i don’t look Latina at all or some people wont believe me at all. I prove to them i am Latina by speaking Spanish correctly. This gives permission to people to treat me with respect and to understand that I don’t deal with no disrespect. My family’s influence on my literacy in my education has help me complete many writing assignments and have gotten great grades because of them. It has made me learn what to share out with strangers, how to write about family , how express better to the reader. It has also showed me that other people can relate to my life story and thats nice. Im looking forward in this class to write about interesting stuff. Have a great social life and funny class meets due to being online school can make someone down with their emotions.
