My beat is going to be about how important your mental health and self care is, and how they can both impact each other. The reason why I would like to write about this and also learn more about this topic is because I can relate to many things regarding mental health and self care, as well as others. Throughout the pandemic I had a very rough time being in the house and not being able to do anything or go anywhere, so my mental health went down as well as my self care. Because I did not feel good mentally I was not able to “fake” it and look good. Some people are very good at “faking” it though, sometimes people feel horrible but they still manage to maintain their self care and appearance.
What I would want to know is how can you maintain your mental health as well as your self care. I would also like to learn different ways you can cope and deal with mental health in a healthy way.
I believe that this story will be interesting to read because everyone can relate to mental health and self care and they can learn from it as well.
My mom is a Nurse Practitioner , she prescribes medication to people who have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and much more. I will be asking her for some information on mental health and how it affects you. I will also be looking at other informative articles on self care.
