In my process of writing the article I found it easy to find articles that cover the scientific aspect of my topic; the challenging part was trying to find anecdotal evidence from trusted sources which would make the paper more relatable to my audience. However I wasnβt able to find any so I chose to rely on interviews of other college students that I know and podcasts. When it comes to the actual writing process of the paper, what has challenged me the most is stepping outside the generic academic writing style and trying to maintain my βvoiceβ throughout the paper. I believe that is the most important aspect of the paper since being able to have the readers connect with me and with the paper is the best way to get my point across.

Those are great choices and things to consider. Yes, make the writing voice relatable and not “academic” — that goes along perfectly with the use of anecdotes from real people. You’re making good choices about this.
