I have chosen to research sleep. Sleep is a universal experience all of our bodies need to function properly. Since I was a kid, everyone has emphasized the importance of getting a sufficient amount of sleep in order to grow βbig and strongβ. However, as I have grown older, sleep has become less important for me and I think this issue is prevalent among many other college students and adults. During my research process I want to uncover the effects sleep has on us physically and mentally and the relationship that has on our daily activities. For me personally it’s hard for me to stick to a habit if I am not seeing immediate results or if I don’t know what results I am looking for. This adds an extra layer to my research process because I want to uncover what are the immediate effects sleep has on us and how sleep affects other conditions that one may already have such as anxiety , ADHD etc. With a topic so common among humans, I believe my interview process wonβt be difficult because everyone has been impacted by sleep either positively or negatively so it won’t be hard finding someone to interview but the problem will be the questions that I am going to ask them to get as much input as possible. My primary audience will be college students because most of us struggle with sleep related issues so I want this research to benefit them in understanding the immediate effects sleep can have on our daily lives and how that can impact the quality of work we can provide.Β
