This text was very complex but satisfying at the same time. When the narrator brought up things and individual in a non singular manner, that really had me in a tailspin.Β However, this allowed me to analyze the text with more thought and come to an understanding about how the faku affected the Dominican Republic. In most Caribbean or Virgin Islands, thereβs historical background that characterizes the people who live there in the modern day. Of course, itβs up to us to really think about if thereβs theories are true or not. In all, Jonet Diaz gives us a well detailed but complex version of just that teaches us that thereβs life lessons and teachings anywhere.Β
