Sewayne’s Introduction

My name is Sewayne Thompson, I’m 19, and this is my first year at City Tech majoring in fashion merchandising. A few things stuck out to me from the works gone over. My takeaway from both the article and video is how important it is to not make yourself less than to fit into society’s box defining who you are. You can be the only person who does that. That’s something I’ve always known and stuck with to whether it was a parent trying to decide the life I should live or the stereotypes that plague our society on who we all should be. I never want to dim who I am or my beliefs to shelter anyone else.
