My name is Ethan Pruzhansky, and I am currently pursuing a degree in information systems. I’ve always been fascinated by technology; I’ve always seen the exterior of it and how it looked. College has enabled me to push myself to the next level and have a true understanding of how all of the technology in our modern world operates. Without my parents, I would have no idea what I was doing. My father is a computer engineer, and he demonstrated to me what he does for a career, which captivated me. This instilled in me a great deal of confidence in my ability to accomplish my goals. I did not choose this major because he forced me to do so. As a child, I began playing video games at a very young age and continue to do so to this day. It’s truly incredible how far video games have come in the modern era, because at times it feels as if you’re not even playing a game at all, but rather living in real life. This piqued my interest in how something like this could be created. Anyway, this is why I chose computer technology systems: I want to be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology when it occurs.

Good for you! And I think there must be something genetic about some of the things we do and love. My dad loved what he called “toys” — the newest electronic gear. I think if he were still alive, he would be so into video games!! I kind of inherited that from him, I think (a little embarrassing, but there it is.)
