Homework #1 Cell Phones and Photography by Cecilia Taveras

Hi! My name is Cecilia Taveras and this is my second semester at City Tech. I am starting my major as Liberal Arts in City Tech for now until I decided what I would really love to do in terms of my major and career. Reading the short time article on the new iPhone 6s campaign, My thoughts behind the apple campaign pretty much amazed me. The reason why it had amazed me because now we can see that photography is being pushed to the next level. What I mean by being pushed to the next level is people may think that photography, you need high advanced cameras such as Nikon and Cannon while now instead the trend of photography is now is being made with cellphones such as iPhone 6 or 6s. For example, I have an iPhone 5s which I have taken so many beautiful pictures with and so many people thought that I have taken those pictures professionally with an advanced camera but in my case, it wasn’t. My thoughts also behind iPhone 6 is that it could be very fun in anyone experience because of the quality and options you could make to actually take a decent photo as if it were a professional photograph especially taking pictures of remarkable events and moments that you are living in. When I have watched the video of iPhone 5 parody, I could say that the iPhone 5 parody represents the bad side of iPhones or any cellphones device. I believe that now in this modern day, people became so obsess of taking pictures and start to forget to of enjoying themselves at the moment. It had become a norm that now people have to take pictures of what they eating every time they are in a restaurant. Sometimes, in my opinion I just believe that not all things have to kept as a memory to remember, especially food.  Not every minute has to be photograph only some. But overall, I actually enjoy having an iPhone to take pictures with while in some days I hope I experience both iPhones and advanced cameras to see the different experience with both.
