This Camera Is 112-megapixels (Seriously!)

What could be the world’s biggest digital camera ever made, it is also made by a small company from Arizona called Spectral Instruments. The large camera is specifically used to take photographs in space but now they are putting it to the test as an actual camera anyone can use. Unfortunately, these camera will not be sold due to how much work and money it would be to construct the camera to make hundreds more of them. However, if a load of people demand (with please) for the camera to be sold to the public, then their might be some hope for us all to have this amazing camera in the palm of our hands.

  1. This is insane. A camera like this in the hands of a consumer would be ridiculous. You could probably get a molecular shot. Seeing all the micro-hairs, skin cracks and pores. Talk about High-Def.

  2. Neat post, I wasnt aware people we developing cameras similar to the probe’s the send out in space for use on “the ground floor”. Technology to new heights.

WOW! That’s a lot of megapixels! I have never heard of anything that high ever. Its not even like they gradually lead us up to the big reveal. They were just like ” BAM! 112 megapixels that you can’t enjoy! ENJOY!” But the is really High-Def.

I concurred with Travis; making these super high tech cameras for consumers it’s a little outrageous. It’s fine to use a camera with 112 megapixel and it insane definition to photograph in outer space, but here on earth it would mean that the camera can photograph a person’s skin and strands the hair follicle. The photographer could see microscope items through its camera this would be sick yet legendary. I think as the world turn maybe this camera turns out to be the next hot thing for consumer’s, but i think its mainly target for experts.
