   Hello Yuhui,

   I am your architect and I will be designing your dream house. If you would please allow me to ask you 10 questions about what your house will potentially be like.

   1. What is your budget for the house ? Is there any in particular ? If so please let me know.

   2. Who is occupying the space? Kids? Pets?

   3. What kind of buildings or Facade designs really draw your attention ?

   4. Do you have any interest? Any favorites of some sort? If could be anything you’d like to name.

   5. Is there particular materials you’d like to have ?

   6. What room would be mostly occupied, when at home ?

   7. Is this a New Construction or an Existing Construction condition? If so is there any design features you’d like to strongly ask as an input to your facade?

   8. How many rooms in total are you going to have? This includes storage, bathrooms, bedrooms, dining room, living room, etc.

   9. How Do you commute ? Do you drive ? Do you have a car? Do you ride a bicycle? Do you walk to nearby facilities? How do the kids get to school ?

   10. What experience do you want to have when you’re in the house ?

     Hello, Walkiria.
     Thanks for contacting me. I will answer the questions one by one.
     1. My budget for the house is around 1 million dollars, or can be a little more than that.
     2. My family of four will occupying the house, and may be a dog, too. My daughter loves dogs.
     3. I want my house to be half open to the outdoor and half closed. So I would like to mix the translucence glass and the solid façade materials.
     4. I need a space for wine storage. And my wife, who is a tri-athlete, really want to have a gym room or working space in the house. Also I would like to have some extra play zone for my two kids.
     5. You can choose any materials which you think is fit into the design.
     6. I think the living room and the kitchen will be the mostly occupied space.
     7. This will be a new construction condition. And my families like natural sunlight, so we need some big windows or openings design in the house.
     8. I can’t tell how many rooms we really want to have. Basically, we should have one master bedroom, one guest room, two kids room, dining room, three bath room, living room, gym room, and couple more extra rooms for activities.
     9. We have one car. And we drive to work and school. We also walk to facilities nearby often.
     10. In my opinion, our house is a place where families can gather and have fun all the time, so the most important part in the house will be the connections between the parents and the kids, and how they can be commute by occupying the space.
