  1. Hello Matthew Ho,

My name is Jennifer and I will be your Architect. I have received some of what the family wants and I would like to ask the clients you represent the following questions.

    Kind regards,

    Jennifer

    Client Questions

    1. Are you planning on growing your family? Where do your belongings tend to end up at the end of the day?

    2. Does your family like to host social gatherings (including guests for your daughters i.e. sleepovers, play dates etc.)?

    3. Leanne; as a Loom Weaver do you plan on having a business of textiles from home? Will you be receiving clients in your home?

    4. What items and trinkets are significantly important to everyone?

    5. Alexandra; are you a local trapeze artist or most of the time you are away from home? And if you are home is your act with other partners or just yourself?

    6. What is your budget if any?

    7. What is your method of transportation? i.e. car(s), bikes, public transportations etc.

    8. What designs, colors and patterns you like and dislike?

    9. Is sustainable development and increased energy efficiency of importance to you? Do you prefer natural sunlight?

10.What is your design style or vision?

      Hi Jennifer-
Here are the answers to the questions you’ve asked about the family.
Feel free to ask anymore questions.

      1. Leanne is a very organized person so her work is carefully stored in her workshop. Alex isn’t home often so her belongings are rarely moved. The twins are young so they’re messy and their belongings go all over the place.
      2. Leanne enjoys bringing guests over and talking business over with them. She also supports the idea of the children bringing friends over and spending the night.
      3. Leanne works from home and discusses commissions with clients on the phone or personally in her own house.
      4. Leanne and Alex both keep the rings they exchanged before moving in together. The twins keep a photograph of Alex and dolls that Leanne made for them.
      5. Alex works for a traveling circus and she returns home approximately for a short period per 6 months.
      6. Alex is a veteran circus performer and earns approx. $70,000 a year. Leanne is a crafts weaver and works at home, commissioning textiles for fashion designers. She earns about $30,000 a year. However, through savings and support from family they have $700,000 for the house.
      7. Leanne owns a single family car. She rarely needs to take public transportation.
      8. Alex enjoys the color blue because it gives her the sense of flying and heights. Leanne likes the color purple because it is a color often used in her works.
      9. Less payment for anything is always good. Also, natural sunlight is important towards the health of children, so the more the better.
      10. The house should feel open on the inside, giving it a sense of freedom. Height should be embodied so Alex would feel comfortable. There should be a mini-lobby/guest room so Leanne can speak with her clients professionally. Plenty of windows for the children’s rooms. Leanne’s workroom should be difficult for anyone else to access and have plenty of privacy so she can concentrate. However, while she works, she’ll need to keep an eye on the children. There will need to be a room large enough for the storage of Leanne’s and Alex’s equipment.

      Best regards,
      Matthew Ho

  2. Hi Matthew,

Thank you, I revived the information and I may have a few follow up questions but as for now this information is sufficient. I’m looking forward to designing this house.

    Thank you for your time,
    Jennifer

  3. Consider working on reformatting and improving the graphics of your board

  4. Hi Matthew,

    I wanted to know.

How does Leanne feel about the Ami and Yum want and practicing being a trapeze artist?

What concerns does Alexandra and Leanne have if I combined a space for the twins and Alexandra’s trapeze space?

Can anyone as in Ami and Yum’s friends be able to use the trapeze space or would you like a separate space for friends and or for your children?

How would Leanne feel if her office was in the basement?

Would Alexandra and Leanne prefer to have a one story house or multiple?

I understand that the Ami and Yum want to be separated but what if they had separate spaces. Their room would be large enough for both to have their own beds, space etc. but instead of being separated by a wall they are separated by closets. Would this would for the girls and family or would they prefer to be completely separated from each other?

When it comes to education for Ami and Yum as they they older would you like a space for them to be able to study?

    Thank you for your time.
    Jennifer

      Hi Jennifer-

Leanne is honestly against the idea. She would prefer if the twins go into a more practical profession, like business. Alex however, is thrilled at the idea.

Alex’s equipment are meant for professional use, so she would prefer the twins are unable to have easy access to it because it’s dangerous for amateurs.

If it gives her extra space to store her things, Leanne wouldn’t mind having her workshop in the basement.

Multiple stories are no problem, but having like an atrium in the house would be interesting.

Have the closet link the 2 rooms together so they can go into each other’s room via closet. That would be cool and hilarious.

Education is always a priority, so having a separate study room or separating out both their rooms would be fine.
