Does everyone fight when they drunk? I think the answer is probably not for everyone. From the article “Why does alcohol make some people violent?” Dyani Lewis writes about the influence of alcohol is different to everyone. It depends on the personality, brain function, and environment. For those people who are having less ability to control their mind. They would easy to drunk and then be aggressive. The author also mentions that Mostly Men are easy to aggressive than woman when drunk. They are not able to control their behavior because of alcohol stimulating their brain, especially for impulsive people. However, alcohol will affect you with slow reaction and out of control. Alcohol has different concentrations of white wine, red wine, and beer. People will get drunk easily with high alcohol content. As a result, Alcohol is one of the harms that cause violence. It is a good idea to restrict or limit the sale of alcohol in order to control violence happened.

My audience is targeting 21-40 age men. The images will include a model. I am going to ask a man in the class. If no one to do a volunteer I will bring my friend. I will shot both still life photography and people. The tone of the still life will be serious. I will bring a bottle of beer, glass, and alcohol for props. Basically, I want to express the idea of alcohol is a serious problem. I would use the black background for model shooting, and the lighting I would use the Rembrandt light with no fill. I will ask a model pretend like a drunker with anger face. Another image idea, the drink bottles are in front of the model. Creating shadows on the bottles with the spot light. 

From the article “ See the glass half empty or half full? Why Optimists are Happier, Healthier and Wealthier.” Margie Warrell targets to those people who stress on life. Everyone sees things in different ways might depends on how to do their attitudes. Using an example of a glass half full to present on people react on life. For example, For some people who are easy to meet the conditions would happier and healthier. The author also writes 7 strategies to train you to be optimism. Do not give up know what you need to do, meet new things, take a challenge to a hard time, and do not close someone who is pessimists, treat yourself and do exercise also means not lazy.

On “A Healthy outlook” by Camille Chatterjee, this article advance to those people who are pessimists. For pessimists will see a glass water as half empty like always missing something in their life. On the other way, they always deal the difficulties with pressure. The research did by Karen Matthews to inform everyone knows pessimists will easy to have higher blood pressure and then lead to heart disease.

Both poems are using a metaphor of driving a car. On “She being Brand”, Cummings uses “she” to represent a car. It is mysterious to the readers at the beginning. On the first stanza, the author writes the car is new as she’s new to sexual experience. The author is expressing both of them are nervous at the beginning. “it was the first ride…” This is apparently telling he was experienced but driving this new car for the first time. It is actually meaning they are the first time sleep together also she has no any experience. They are finally having a happy ending. In contrast, “Coming Home, Detroit, 1968”, PhiIlip Levine was expressing the negative feelings to the readers for the whole poem. Telling a story for the man pass by his hometown city when he is going to work. “The charred faces, the eyes boarded up, the rubble of innards. the cry…” This could tell us he is having a strong sense to this place but at the same time, he is feeling no hope with it.

I will try to find old style toy cars for next week shooting. I will do more close up shooting and pay attention to the details of the car for the first poem. I think for the layout I will focus on bright colors to express the feelings in exciting. Also, make it as a brand new car.

The second poem I will take images of a black car in the white background. I am thinking to make some dust on the car so that expressing the idea of when he is passing by the city.

For the book cover, I want to use front light, close up, no shadow. As a cover placement, I want to try to duplicate my potato shoot as a GMO idea, use as a background, then I will make type treatment on top.

Generally, social media is being an important part of their lives but it is also dangerous to them. Mike Elgan discuses an example of how social network attracting people by the notification number. So that the author wants people realized how the social network is harmful. Finding a solution to quit is the best suggestion for those people who are addicted. I agree with the author’s idea that giving your self a schedule on social networking site. I might recommend setting a reminder on your phone to check social media once at the end of a day. When you work for a whole you would think tired to check social media.  This article is related to “How social media empower our generation to fight for global causes”, Jill Phol is reporting more focus on young people by social media’ effect.

For next week I am going to bring newspaper and magazine. The first idea I will take some shots of my model for holding her phone checking on Facebook or Instagram. The newspaper put together in front of her. The other idea is about while my model is doing her job and she gots a lot of notifications from social media on the phone screen.

Hearing Loss PSA

According to “Healthy Hearing Campaign in New York City”, the author tells us about young people should alert to their hearing because of the high volume headphones. Some people who like to listen to music they always would like turned the volume highest to cover the noise from outside. For those people should prevent the listening problem by suggestions that turn the volume down is always helped. Also, do not listen to music for the whole day. Therefore, some image ideas I am going to shoot for next class is to communicate to my group partners first. In our group, two people will prepare headphones. I am going to decide one person wearing the headphone but one is just hanging the headphone on his neck. Both of them are having a positive attitude.

Headphones Ad

After our group member discussion, we are going to do beats headphone ad. The brand of beats is more focusing on the younger audience from age 16 to 24. It represents young and active because we could feel from the different colors. For our responsibilities, Cesar will bring two beats headphones are black and red. I will bring my pink beats headphone. We will dress up with a cool sense. So that I will ask my partner dress up in black to match the black headphone and make the background in few colors.

According to the article by Candice Elliott, she writes problems about Americans insurance and why they getting a disease. First, comparing America to other countries, America people spend much more on health insurance than to other countries. But they don’t get high-level treatment on health care. She explains the problems on their own. For some problems such as, no time for exercise, and eating health is difficult due to personal income. She also mentions the doctors who take insurance, but patients don’t get good care from doctors. She finally figures out a solution is choosing a good doctor and listening to doctor. For my personal ideas, doctors do not really do their job. People paying health insurance but not getting equal treatment.

For next week what we shoot in studio work, I am going to shoot an emotion that anger and worry on my partner’s face. Also, I am thinking an action that someone to pretend to worry about his or her finance problem. These kinds of shooting on negative sense will relate to this article.
