Dear Mr. Salerno

As a highly skilled Telecommunications Engineering, I read your posting for a new Telecommunications and Data Engineer with interest.  I am a Telecommunication Engineering graduate from New York City of Technology with ten years’ experience with networking as a Communications Engineer in charge of Network Operations, and I am certain I would make a valuable addition to your organization.

With regard to this job position, my qualification is a perfect fit. I have experience in creating local/long distance, VoIP, voice networking conversations, SIP, T1, PRI, POTS, BRI, DSL and order equipment cables for IP networks, project-specific installations, engineering database ICON, CCP and using CISCO switches and routers. Attached to my technical excellence is my ability to liaise effectively with all team members and colleagues. Clients are always my numbers one priority and have learnt throughout my corporate life to develop a strong communication and interpersonal relationship with them.

In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for telecommunications and wireless technologies. Please review my attached resume for additional details regarding my expertise and abilities. I will follow up to request an appointment to discuss how my experience and background meets your needs.

Juan has stated quite clearly the position of Telecommunications and Data Engineer.

In looking at the Ad, he has stated exactly why he is the perfect candidate for the position. He has listed all his qualifications.

Juan’s cover letter makes him an outstanding candidate.

Juan’s letter is very clear in replying to the position advertised. He has listed all the qualifications which make him an excellent candidate for the position.

I would double check on following two issues:
First paragraph: should there be an apostrophe after ten years?

Last paragraph: should be “meet” and not “meets” to match the subject.
