Nite Owls Proposal Outline

Executive Summary by: Meredith Taylor

Statement of Need by: Catherine Paczkowski

Population Served by Catherine Packowski

Project Overview and Strategy by Carla Tabb

  • Evening students are usually more mature students with unique needs that we believe would be met with the creation of an evening/weekend campus at City Tech. This would include an office of weekend services.
  • This would include an extensive program of courses offered for weekend, evening and the summer semester.
  • Core classes as well as internships would be a major part of the curriculum.
  • Internships should be focused on students who do not have the experience in the particular fields.
  • Internship requirements should be different for evening students – they should have the option of beginning in the spring and completing during the fall semester without having an Incomplete grade.
  • Daycare facilities should be integral part of the program.
  • Administrative offices including the Registrar, Bursar, and Financial Aid would be available during this time.
  • Additional hours for tutoring, career advisement, extended computer lab hours would form part of the weekend services.
  • Established course tracks dependent on scheduling and graduation goals.

Dear Mr. Funder,

The Free Arts NYC organization provides undeserved children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that help them to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential. I am writing to see if you would consider a proposal to expand the employment and counseling services available to these youth.

The need for programs are very crucial due to the fact that only 1 in 3 children live in poverty, only 8% of elementary schools meet state standards for arts education and, over 400,000 children are shut out of after school programs. Recognizing these disadvantages have really promoted a desire for change, but we need your help.

We believe that in order to accomplish this, improvement may come from a person of your expertise, someone who can directly reach out to these youth. To convince them to seek some additional education through our programs offered here at Free Arts NYC. Teens have reported a developed skill in portraiture and fundamental photography techniques. They have developed the capacity to analyze artworks from diverse perspectives. 97% have felt pride in their work, 100% of kids said PACT helped their family learn about working as a team.

I am requesting a donation of $15,000. We are in need of new computer equipment and art supplies. Your donation will give undeserved children the transformative powers of art and the support of caring mentors, growing the sense of possibility in their lives. We appreciate you taking an interest in our organization. Please pay us a personal visit at your convenience.

Sincerely,

Daniel Ehrmann

Difficult and easy question.

8. What is your greatest professional achievement?

This is the most difficult question for me because I don’t have experience so I  never had a professional achievement before. Then it could be bat in the interview

2. How did you hear about the position?

This is the most easy question for me because I could give many different reference quickly and smart sources.

Francisco Diaz 31 most-common interview Questions.

Please identify which question you think would have most difficulty answering (and why) and which question you would be most confident in answering (and why). I think that the questions that I’m most comfortable answering are the following. I think that all of the questions below can be easily answered. there are straight-forward, and  easy to answer. Plus, these questions are the most commonly used in interview; so you kind of get used to them. Can you tell me a little about yourself?  How did you hear about the position? Why do you want this job? Why should we hire you? Tell me about a challenge or conflict you’ve faced at work, and how you dealt with it. Where do you see yourself in five years? What’s your dream job? What other companies are you interviewing with? Why are you leaving your current job? Why were you fired? What are you looking for in a new position? What type of work environment do you prefer? What’s a time you exercised leadership? How would your boss and co-workers describe you? Why was there a gap in your employment? Can you explain why you changed career paths? How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations? What would your first 30, 60, or 90 days look like in this role? What are your salary requirements? What do you like to do outside of work? If you were an animal, which one would you want to be? Are you planning on having children? What do you think we could do better or differently?Do you have any questions for u

I think I would have most difficulty answering the following questions. these are big and difficult questions. some of these questions required the knowledge of professional experiences; so it  might be a little difficult to answer them if you do not have any professional experience. What’s your management style? What is your greatest professional achievement? What do you consider to be your weaknesses? What are your greatest professional strengths? What’s a time you disagreed with a decision that was made at work? How many tennis balls can you fit into a limousine?

Interview Questions

Can you tell me a little about yourself?

the question #1. I think would be easy to answer this question  because I can express my self about my professional strengths

What do you consider to be your weaknesses?

this question  is a little hard to answer  because I don’t know  what kind answer the interviewer  is looking for .

31 Questions Response

What do you consider to be your weaknesses?

This question particularly gets challenging for me. How is one suppose to project their weaknesses without seeming to be a misfit for a job? Where’s the hold off in saying too much?

Tell me about a challenge or conflict you’ve faced at work, and how you dealt with it.

It is fairly easy to bring up situations and moments where I stepped in and I took charge. From any of my past and present workplace, their was always a moment that I was presented with much more responsibilities to test how much I can handle.
