Whether we want to buy a product or see a movie, there is a tendency to check the comments first. If we read a bad review, we will not buy the product or see the movie. The internet has empowered us more than ever before to voice our opinion. If a company wants to be successful, it is important to have the public comment on their products effectiveness.
Distribution
The internet is often used for spreading information. Whether that information is true or false, we often use the internet to find out what has taken place around us and around the world. It can be hard to decipher what is really real from the fake and hoaxes.
Advertising
Advertising is another major phenomenon of the internet. Using the art of effective persuasion, especially in the images portrayed and the command of language, advertising is the ultimate marketing machine. Being able to search for something and find what you are looking for is the success of advertising.
