Before reading Arroyo, I would define electracy as a fancy word for the internet. The internet being electrified, full of power.  The internet where we communicate globally through the use of machines. We are around electracy everyday and it is becoming apart of our daily lives. According to Arroyo, electracy never stops around us and it is a electronic literacy. Electracy also brings together into one, literacy and orality. The world is being transformed around electracy because every one has linked themselves to the internet. We learn and contribute to our society through the different websites, and the most important the internet allow us to write and speak up to share our opinions with the whole world. Electracy is like a virtual world and a great example is Youtube.
