  1. I’m a true believer of the impact that thoughts have. I know that the way that a person thinks about things has a huge influence on how they see the world around them. Cognitive Behavioral therapy can actually work for some criminals but not all. If the person has a problem such as antisocial personalty disorder or they do not see what is wrong with what they are doing, there will be no progress.

I think Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be very beneficial. I believe changing someone’s perceptions about something is a great start to diminishing the number of individuals who reoffend and end up back in prison. I think that there is no one answer to reducing the number of people who go back to jail, but I think Cognitive Behavorial Therapy looks promising.
