At last day before the spring breack we to the trip to the United Federation of Teachers Center where near the wall street ,that was nice experience, cause the staff of UFT show us so many different machineS to teach us how make the work in easy way,when the tour began it was really hard to find that the entrance to the mailroom was through a secret pathway., that was liek a maze .The overall tour at UFT was very educational and informative because the staff show many different unqio skill to us. There is one I couldnot forget, what call the traditional printing machine starts out with a negative and aluminum plate where the file you designed gets put onto the plate and the water rollers inks whatever is in black, that way the design gets printed on the paper you put through the machine. Since the plate is put onto cylinder shaped rollers the pressman needs to make sure that the plate is correctly positioned in order for the machine to produce perfect print outs. Meaning it will print two sides of the paper in one pass making the process that much faster.
