Just an update, today we did a service learning project at a Senior Center and it was a very wonderful and rewarding experience. We talked about periodontal disease, proper oral hygiene, gingival recession, xerostomia, denture care and a healthy diet. They were very excited to learn so much and a lot of the information was new to them.
