I have been working as a registered nuse with Besure Home Health Services located in the Bronx since November of 2011. My duties are to provide preceptorship to new nurses, as well as provide initial assessments of the client and care setting. During my assessment visits I educate patients and family members on health management, treatments, and medications. I do daily, weekly, and monthly visits. The daily visits can be for wound care, weekly visits are for medication preperation as well teaching and administration, monthly visits are for assessments. I also supervise HHA during patient care. I am also the educator for the inservice classes provided by the agency to the HHA as well as PCA personells.
