I want to teach my audience the affects of modern technology like smartphones and laptops has on us. I want to teach them the benefits of these devices, the non benefits and teach them why we shouldn’t be overusing these devices as most people in this generation do. I want the audience after seeing this, will learn something new and open their eyes on their unhealthy habits. The audience that I’m trying to reach are teenagers and young adults as they are the ones that use smartphones and laptops the most. The genre will be nonfiction, informative. What I have in mind to write in is a twitter feed as teenagers and young adults use social media a lot on their devices and twitter is a social media platform and that is the platform where I will publish this. I plan on making an account called Facts about Modern technology then post the positives and negatives of it in different posts. People who use social media don’t really stay on a post for that long so, I will do my best to make it understandable, short and interesting and catch their attention so people could learn some good information quick.

Ā Ā I want to teach my audience about the lives of the speciesā closely related to the Locc Ness Monster. Also, I intend my work to reach the natives and marine biologists of Scotland, due to the fact that the Locc Ness Monster lives there. My thoughts will be conveyed into the genre of short story, because I feel like with a twist of dramatic storyline, the information I display in the story about Ā the creatures will stick much more to a persons memory.Ā If I had to publish the short story anywhere, it would get it published as a short story in the section of a newspaper, specifically by ā404 ink,ā a publishing company in Scotland. I want it presented like that, because of the genre Iām doing, the genre is short story, meaning that the article has to be short and straight to the point.
Ā Ā To elaborate, a short-dramatic story would be great to include in the newspapers of Scotland because it would also catch peoples eyes. Realistically speaking, no oneās gonna be able to retain the information of a huge informational article on sea creatures. Additionally, I intend to get started by first, deciding which creature from the Locc Ness family tree do I wanna research, because there isnāt just one species in the spectrum. Afterwards, Iāll proceed to doing a substantial amount of research on the organism and then begin to think about creating a short story based off of that information. The only thing that concerns me about this project is how am I gonna get every piece of information I want into a short story. A lot of condensing will have to get done in order to get my facts across. Nevertheless, Iām excited to start this project.Ā
Unit 3 Proposal
Haiti and the Dominican Republic is a topic in which I have lots of knowledge of. To be specific the topic is migration of Haitians into the Dominican Republic. What I want to teach or enlighten people about this topic is that for you to understand it you have to view it yourself because viewing and listening this topic yourself is important due to their being so much false information that is wrongfully interpreted. What I mostly learned from unit 2 is that reading things carefully can help you a lot when reading articles about the same topic. In addition , Unit 2 has also helped me realized that understanding point of views of a two side story is something that can boost yourself as a writer and help your understanding more of any topic. The audience Im trying to reach our people who can understand both point of views of both countries :why Haitian citizens migrate so frequent to the Dominican Republic and why the Dominican Republic deports them back to their homeland when entering illegally. The genre is nonfiction because the migration to a country because ofĀ lack of resources and opportunity is a topic that is really serious and migration for many mean peace and a better life. If I were to post about his topic I would choose twitter because its where anybody can give their opinion on the topic without getting banned,Ā nor get limited to what they can say. Also, its good place to start debates and get welcome to new perspective on your topic.I plan to get started by going deeper in my research and try to find what are both countries doing wrong and right. And something that Im going to do is research if peace between both island will be a thing in the future. Im not worried about anything so far because this is a topic that I very much like and enjoy sharing my point of view on it.
