So, most people would read like I would basically be read the words while understanding. I would read by reading it first then forgetting to understand how to read it. Then proceed to read it again for a better understanding. Donāt do what I do since it just creates more work for yourself. Within the story it explains how you should build up a story. He states that if we hadnāt done that, we or anyone else would be able to write their own stories. Any sort of experience you tell someone turns into a story to their eyes and they become the āreaderā or in terms of just speaking they are the audience of the story. Listening on the up and downs or the comedic parts of it and many more. The authors try to explain that when reading a book or a story you should be trying to discover his or her purpose for even telling you or the ways they explain their own story. This helps you understand the point the narrator/author is trying to show you. This a slightly opened my eyes to the idea of seeking more out of reading something so Iāll do my best to incorporate this in my free time since doing something a lot ends up becoming a habit which is great for me if it does.

Homework 1.3 Part 2
English will always be my second language. My whole family speaks Spanish at home, so that was my only way of communicating. I was mostly being introduced to learning English by watching the channel PBS kids. This channel is particularly focused in teaching kids spelling and number while making it fun.
After learning a few words and trying to build sentences learning English became a little more easy. I started communicating a little more in that language. Even though i was learning English at school and on television my English was considered broken. I started school and i was excited because i was going to be able to understand my teacher.

The goal of a narrative is to tell a story, but what sets it apart from an educational narrative is that the story being told is meant to reflect experiences with what the audience has learned or a theory they have. The education narrative depends on the reader learning about the writer’s experiences; the reading we’ve done thus far typically begins with a background story that had a significant impact on the writer’s life and altered their perspective.Ā We read about a young person in Olivarez’s “Maybe I Could Save Myself by Writing” who thinks as though he doesn’t belong in either of the life’s categories while being both American and Mexican but not connected to either. He describes how he uses his newly discovered passion of poetry as a vehicle for self-expression. Through poetry, the author hopes to let those who find themselves in similar situations to his own realize that they aren’t the only ones who struggle with social alienation. To begin my educational story The most helpful method, in my opinion, is to write down the causes and effects of certain events in my life in an idea web. The introduction is one of my main worries because it can be difficult for me to attract the attention of the reader. Iām thinking to begin with a backstory, but to be honest I might start writing body paragraph and then go back to the introduction. I am also nervous that my writing will get lost in itās own point.
