- While reading this article, I paused at least 4-5 times because it was boring. I tried writing about it but nothing inspired me to write about it, so that’s when I took a step back for a few minutes and realized I could write about how much I hate it. I find it boring, childish, and useless. Every article that writes about how to overcome procrastination is redundant and I have already read many of them. I looked over 3 different articles and all 3 of them said the same thing but in different ways, everything felt repetitive they said to confess that you do actually procrastinate, find facts on why you procrastinate, and “ask” if procrastination is really that bad. I decided to write about “So You Want to Write an Article on Procrastination …” because at the end of it, the author wrote “Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.” I disagree with this statement because a lot of people who procrastinate, get frustrated with themself and start to avoid the task, yes you can work with procrastination but it is not “Easy peasy, lemon squeezy”. Even though The author wanted to show that procrastination can be easy to overcome with the right mindset and tools.I understand that the author’s intention was to portray procrastination as something that can be easily overcome with the right mindset and tools. However, it’s important to acknowledge that for many people, overcoming procrastination is not always as simple as it may seem. It can be a complex and challenging process that requires self-awareness and effective strategies. We all have different experiences and perspectives when it comes to procrastination.

HOMEWORK 1.3
There are “ingredients” to making an education narrative genre. I notice in both stories they get straight to the point to attract the readers. In all the stories the narrators start with when and where the story took place, which is the most important ingredient to starting off a story. Not starting off a story like that can cause confusion to the reader. Another ingredient of an education narrative is explanation. Explaining your narrative detail for detail is important to the reader. Doing this can help the reader understand your point of view of the story and they also picture the scene in their head. I think a place to get started with my own education narrative is having an educational experience that has happened to me in the past or even present time. I don’t think that it would be very difficult to come up with a educational experience that has happened to me. A educational experience that I went through was High School. During high school I started it with the mentality that I had in middle school. As I continued throughout my first year of high school, it got hectic with covid and having to quarantine and start going to school online. After that my mentality changed when I was back in the school building. I started high school thinking everything was going to be fine and nothing cray will happen. Never would I have thought the whole world would be going crazy. It was an educational experience because it taught me you never know the ups and downs that can come to you.
Homework 1.3
A narrative in my opinion is sort of like a direction an author decides to create or follow. It would show dates, locations, actions, and could probably also talk about the narrator themselves. People may end up reading your narrative due to how interesting or in most cases for students the teacher or teachers find it interesting for other people to observe. Now as for the actual person reading it everyone has their own perspective on anything they physically view. At times maybe people would have “similar” ideas but maybe at times others will be able to see past the vail of all the ideas the author is trying to convey to their audience. The three stories that we read in class all convey problems and situations that the narrator has. They differ in the specific details of how the problems started to what it currently is. To begin my own narrative, I would have to talk about a personal experience that I’d like to share with the people reading. I’ll have to do my best to explain why this was a large issue and how it impacted me today. Creating a sort of direction that establishes the setting, conflict, and etc. My only concern with making a narrative is which I should choose since I’ve had a lot of education stuff happen to me but it’s a matter of whether I’m willing to share it or not. Part 2: so, you know how adults tells you “Everyone learns differently”, right? So obviously my point is when I used to be in preschool I learned very differently and had to follow a different program then all the other kids. Obviously, I know now that it was the best choice at the time but it is something a still remember. Back when I was younger whenever I would join a class a specific teacher would take me to the back of the classroom with a big table and a few chairs with a few other kids. This was basically a space where this teacher would teach us the same exact thing as what the main teacher would teach but instead would be a lot slower and a lot more mindful compared to them. They would make sure that we were all paying attention and make sure we understood the assignments given to us. You could say it was the “easy mode group”. I remember a lot of students asking me why I was always part of that group but at this time I was too young to understand my own circumstances. Once I left that school and started growing up is when I realized why I was there to begin with. Obviously, I feel very thankful to be given that since it helped me grow as a person.
