Discussion board posts must be posted to the Blackboard discussion board by Wednesday, 11:59 p.m. EST.
See the policy on late work on page 3.
Mid-term and final exams
There are mid-term and final exams. They will consist of short-answer problems such as explaining concepts or comparing two concepts; and two essays. Both exams will be post on Blackboard at 9:00 am and you will work on them for 15 hours and submit them on Blackboard. Students often think that having 15 hours will be long enough, but it is not always true. Please mark your calendar and be prepared. In order to be fully prepared for exams, you will have to complete all the weekly assignments, including lecture video watching!
If students cannot be online for an exam with any urgent reasons, they should inform me before the exam. But in order to take make-up exam, students will need to show documentation (e.g. doctorâs note) as proof. For students with unexcused absence on an exam day, make-up exams will not be given. Note that no make-up exam will be offered after the final exam. (NO EXCEPTION)
