Before the lockdown has been announced I’ve been at my aunt house spending time with my cousins. I took my little cousins Noah and Judah outside to get birthday cake milkshakes and my older cousin Kalifa insisted on getting tattoos but the tattoo shop was close due to the virus. Lastly my cousin Jahdai and I went to target to pick up food stuff, I then watched her do her clients hair, and lastly we attempted to go to Claw Daddy but it was over capacity so we ended up going to Chick Fil A.
Since then, my mother has me barricade inside the house since the 17th. I’ve been dying to go outside because of extreme boredom, but now that the lockdown has been announced I probably won’t be able to go outside for about a month unfortunately. I realized I’ve found myself eating and sleeping way more than I usually will, I guess that’s a way I found to kill time. I’ve also been catching up on lots of shows, right now I am currently watching All American on Netflix which is a really good show. Lastly I’ve been watching YouTube videos on makeup and hairstyles, and I’ve also been playing my PlayStation way more.
My mother is finding it very hard to adapt to the situation we’re in. She’s used to getting up every morning going to work and then coming home, but now that she has nothing to do her anxiety has gone up immensely. But she is finding ways to coop with her anxiety by painting her room, rearranging things, watching movies, and bothering me. Hopefully the virus can clear up real soon because I don’t think my mother and I can take being in this house for too long.
Ha, Nakiah, I relate to your mom. I especially like how you say that one of her favorite pastimes is bothering you. : – ) As a mom, I know.
Do you have any interest in reviewing your favorite show for us? or a favorite movie? Could be interesting. We need some suggestions.
I think it’s best to social distance. I am a social person, though, and I didn’t realize how much I was until now.

My mom is the same way, shes trying to keep me in the house and stay locked up but I try to go outside and do things that dont require close contact. If I’m inside I will play my xbox or watch mlb highlights on YouTube.
