I came across this word during a lecture in class spoken by the professor. this is not verbatimĀ  but the professor was speaking inĀ  terms of narration and how one’s narratingĀ  give off the essence of omniscient because they are all knowing to the thoughts and actions of the characters.

In light of searching for this word I stumble unto thisĀ  which seems more fitting to the context.

Third Person Omniscient Narration;Ā This is a common form of third person narration in which the teller of the tale, who often appears to speak with the voice of theĀ  author himself, assumes an omniscient (all knowing) perspective on the story being told.
