Over Spring Break 

1. Email me (prosett5@yahoo.com) the defining ways you are using variable terms in each of the “Spots” drawings NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8 [or get a D for the project if you have handed the drawings in and do not email the defining way you used the terms in each drawing to me by Wednesday]. Format for this is as follows; list in the order you wrote them: FULL SENTENCES ONLY,

Goethe Triangle Thursday April 16 (will again review this on Monday April 13)

All basic chart measurements and requirements are now on OpenLab course Graphic Design Principles1sp2015.  The basic chart color wheel template is in the pdf side bar if you need it.

Look in the menu Assignments as well as the pdf side bar for all the information on these charts.
Look them over very carefully. Follow directions in the assignments.

3: Look at these areticles and websites of the work of Paul Rand, one of the few great designers of the 20th Century in Graphics. I will be giving a short exam on Thursday April 16 on some information about the work based upon viewing them. NOTE:

4. Design or select your ePortfolio headers and backgrounds even if not your final choice and place them on site, by Monday, April 13.  I will be checking the course site link to your ePortfolio for your completion of this on that day.

5. Learn to retouch scans of your work in Photoshop NOW. Try writing a couple of reflection paragraphs on one of your projects NOW. You will correct (edit) them later. Should be included in the ePortfolio by Thursday, April 16.

Over spring break you will need to have done: Color Wheel as per directions.

Due Monday, April 13, 8:30 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS.

– Retouched scans of texture project and line as movement project. Mount one on your ePortfolio
