Week 13: Finishing Project 3 & Beginning Final Reflections

Objectives
- To finish Project 3, both the creation (Part 1) and the formal proposal (Part 2)
- To present work to the class for critique
- To complete any unfinished work
- Project 3 (The Multimodal Project) due
For Monday, 5/6
Reading
- Review mentor texts for Project 3 to make sure you have a good understanding of your genre to use as a checklist for your creation.
Writing
- Share as a comment to this agenda any mentor/model texts you found useful
- continue drafting Project 3
- Remember to post your creations to the OpenLab or have it easily available to share for presentations. Use category Project 3 Work.
In-Class
- Where are we with Project 3?
- Presentations of Project 3 creations
- How do we share media-rich large files?
- consider opening a Dropbox account through CUNY
- consider uploading it to YouTube or Vimeo, even if it’s unlisted to maintain privacy
- Peer Critique/Feedback: In Liz Lerman’s Critical Response ProcessSM we are encouraged to offer four types of feedback: what stood out to us, what we understood, what questions we have, and with permission, our advice or opinions
- Note things you understand, liked, or had questions either about what they’re saying or what else you would like to know. Write three to four specific comments about each classmates’ work. Here are some sample phrases to help you get started:
