The topic I am interested in writing about is, why do some classes start at 8 in the morning and why they are sometimes almost 3 and a half hours?

The thesis for my option essay is, “people would love to get a bit more extra sleep in the morning then having to wake up early to get to a 8 A.M class. Everyone had thought about just skipping their 8 A.M class but never do.”

Within the City Tech student population, my audience is the students who have to wake up early for their 8 A.M classes.

The information I would need to support my opinion are facts, studies, and maybe some quotes from people who were/are famous.

The research that will help me get the information is by looking it up and digging deep into the history of education and school schedules.
